Well everyone, Causeacon 2017 has come and gone and man did we have a blast! The entire weekend was jam packed with events, contests and COSPLAY! Let’s do a recap of some the amazing things that happened during Causeacon 2017:
Cosplay Contest: We had over 60 entries for our Cosplay Contest and it was tough to judge them all because of how fantastic the costumes turned out. It was a lot of fun watching each of the contestants walk across the stage and model their costumes. We want to thank everyone who participated and we can’t wait to see what you bring next year!
The Galactic Rave: Man we were all covered in sweat after 1 song at the Galactic Rave. With the music pumping and the glow sticks lighting up the room the Galactic Rave was definitely one of the highlights of Causeacon 2017. We even had a special visitor show up to grace us with his presence, Darth Vader appeared and even shook his tail feather to his own theme song!
Let’s not forget the Vendor Room with all of it’s majesty! There was so much nerd stuff for sale we didn’t know where to begin! From pop vinyls to t shirts, collectables and retro games we we’re lucky we had enough money left over to grab a bite to eat!
Thank you all for hosting Causeacon. My friends and I enjoyed it and are very excited for this upcoming year’s event. Keep it up.
